Why Choose Us?

We are all about dance here at Hype, and in particular about caring for every person that we teach, bringing out the best in them as individual performers. We know that by expanding this ethos to pre-vocational level we are bringing something very unique to South Yorkshire.

For 20 years Hype Dance has provided high quality dance training, dance outreach and dance theatre productions, gaining some incredible industry connections. These experienced industry professionals are excited to have the opportunity to give you the benefit of their real world experience.

Our class sizes will remain small enough for us to get to know the person behind the dancer and there will be plenty of contact time with the tutors – we promise you won’t just be another face in the crowd! Training will be bespoke to the individual students and classes will have a focus on technique and improving technical ability, which will naturally lead to an improvement in performance skills too.

Students will leave the BTEC course with a broad range of skills with the aim of increasing their employability across the sector.

BTEC Level 3 Dance Course Faculty

Our BTEC offers students the chance to learn from qualified dance educators with real world experience. The course is under direction from Anna Olejnicki who has a wealth of personal experience in many areas of the dance sector and now works in dance education.

She has chosen a faculty for the BTEC who are as passionate about giving young dancers the highest level of appropriate training, and nurturing them as individuals. Our course offers an individual approach to each learner and we will equip them with the knowledge and skills to successfully gain a BTEC, and to have a great foundation if they wish to further their training.
