What to prepare in advance

We would like to see a solo to music of approximately 2 minutes long. This can be any dance style, choose one that you feel will show you at your best. We’ll contact you in advance of your audition and ask you to send us your music. Please also bring a copy of your music with you on the day, either on your phone, USB stick or CD.

What to bring & Wear on the day

We suggest you bring a water bottle and snacks / lunch. We have a fridge you can use, and are also close to a Tesco.

Wear clothes suitable to move in. For the commercial class please wear trainers. If you do have a leotard we’d welcome you to wear that for Ballet, along with ballet shoes – if not, don’t worry, just wear tight fitting clothing so that we can see the lines of your body when you move. You can use our changing room to get changed when you’re here.

Finally, don’t worry about the day – we simply want to see you move and to meet you! It isn’t about being perfect – it’s about us seeing your love of dance and your potential. Don’t worry if you don’t do ballet / contemporary / commercial etc, we just want to see your ability to move in the various different disciplines.
