Hype Dancers to Open Triptych at the University of Sheffield
Weโre delighted to share that Hype dancers will be performing at Triptych, the internationally acclaimed triple bill from Lewis Major Projects, on Thursday 5 November at the University of Sheffieldโs Drama Studio.
Our dancers will open the evening with a five-minute curtain raiser choreographed by Paulina Chochulska, Hypeโs Creative Director. Itโs a fantastic opportunity for them to perform on the same bill as a world-class touring company, and we couldnโt be prouder.
About Triptych
Lewis Major Projects is an independent contemporary dance company founded in 2016 by Australian choreographer and director Lewis Major. Based in rural South Australia with a global outlook, the company is known for athletic partnering, cutting-edge visual design and intricate lighting. Majorโs style draws on architecture, sculpture and human geometry rather than traditional dance conventions.
Triptych is a fast-paced, immersive 55-minute triple bill, performed without an interval, exploring human connection and universal cycles through a striking fusion of movement, sound and light:
The production features lighting and creative coding by Fausto Brusamolino and an atmospheric electronic soundscape by James Peter Brown.

It promises to be a brilliant night of dance, and weโd love to see the Hype family there cheering our dancers on.
