Monica started dancing at the late age of 16. She studied Dance at Hillsborough College and furthered her dance training and education to a BA (Hons) Degree at the University of Gloucestershire where she graduated with a First Class Honors Degree. She is now working as a professional dancer and teacher.

Monica works on a freelance basis. She specialises in Contemporary and Commercial Dance and takes regular classes in these styles to keep up with her training.

She currently teaches dance in schools as well as being our Social Media and Marketing Assistant here at Hype Dance. Monica also leads our IDTA Acro for Dance classes, assists with our other IDTA classes on a Saturday as well as providing cover across our Adult and Junior timetable when needed.

Monica’s future goals are to audition and tour with a contemporary company, become a dancer on a cruise ship and dance back up for well-know artists.
