We are running a Beginner Commercial Street Dance Class here at our dance studios in Sheffield.
This is a beginner class covering some essentials of commercial street technique. It’s suitable for complete beginners to the style, anyone who’s always wanted to try street dance and wants to know more, and for those who already know the style but want to refresh their technique. The class will allow students the time to focus on mastering the technique, with suitable guidance and support.
Alongside learning HipHop dance technique suitable for beginners, you will also have the opportunity to meet new people and make new friends. Taking a dance class will also improve your fitness, conditioning, flexibility, strength, balance, posture, memory, co-ordination, mental wellbeing and more..!
The class is taught by one of Hype Dance’s experienced professionals, Mia Gafaar, with her fun and engaging approach. We’re positive you will enjoy the sessions, and will definitely learn something new!
The class costs £6.50 per class and must be booked and paid for in advance and is suitable for ages 16 upwards, of any experience.
You do not need any previous dance experience to take part in this beginner commercial street dance course.
Other Commercial Streetdance classes
We also run an intermediate / advanced level commercial street dance class. This drop-in classes is on Thursdays at 19:05, and costs £6.50 / £5.53 NUS.
This classes must be booked in advance and can be booked online.

Hi Sarah, thanks for your message. No, you are definitely not too old to be joining this, or any of our other classes! There are plenty in class in their 30’s, and older too.
We’ll hopefully see you in the first class tomorrow..!
