Hype Dance Annual Performance, 2026

Our next annual show will be a little different… We’re pleased to announce our first Hype Dance Arts Festival!

Hype dance and our partners will take over the Forge Warehouse buildings and courtyard, creating a fun day out for the whole family.

You will be able to buy hand made souvenirs from local makers, admire art exhibitions presented by local art students and young local artists and also take part in workshops including breakdancing and graffiti. There will also be a live DJ and a local food vendor in a food truck to fuel you up throughout a day.

During all of this will be our dance performances which will be inspired by the story of the “The Little Prince“, a novel that has been translated to over 571 languages and dialects all over the world.

We will tell the story of childhood, growing up, the importance of love and friendship and the idea that what is truly essential is often invisible to the eye. Working in an unconventional space will allow us to create a unique, immersive and unforgettable experience for both performers and audience alike.

We are planning to run the show 3 times throughout the day but will post further details up here as and when we have finalised everything. As it’s a new venue with a new concept there is a lot still to plan!
