Jemma Rosenthal is a performer, artist and creative teacher/coach with almost 10 years experience working in the creative and teaching fields. Graduating from Urdang Academy London in 2012, gaining a 1st Degree BA hons in Professional Dance and Musical Theatre.
She has teaching qualifications in Freestyle and Ballet from the British Association of Teachers of Dance (BATD) and the International Dacne Teachers Association (IDTA), and has taught extensively in both London and Sheffield as a dance teacher, choreographer as well as vocal coach/musical director.
Jemma has performed as a dancer, actor and singer-songwriter in various films and music videos including former Massive Attack singer Sarah Jay Hawley, KOG and the Zongo Brigade, MOAN, Dark Sky Park, Waterlily and SR Media.
She has led workshops on Creativity and Courage with Connection Cafe. As a Dancer at Hype she has danced as part of Savage Beauty R&D and Mode:Default which was performed at Festival of the Mind and has also danced with Hype's performance groups Matrix and Sirens.
Jemma specialises in developing students creative expression and self confidence, training students in an inside out approach, as well as using embodied characterisation to achieve a sense of joy and dynamic body and mind awareness, using her extensive mindfulness and meditation experience to encourage as a stillness and connection to a deeper and resonated movement and vocalisation.
She is currently studying for her Level 5 diploma in performance (life) coaching which is validated by the (NCP) National Council for Psychotherapists.
