Receptionist Wanted

Hype Dance Company provides opportunities for all to realise their creative potential through dance and has been operating in South Yorkshire for over 14 years.

Our Academy offers a wide range of dance classes and training for many ages and abilities. Our community programme offers dance in educational and community settings while our professional dance company produces inspiring and emotive touring dance theatre designed to be shown in unusual settings to engage and entertain a new kind of audience.

We are looking for a responsible receptionist to work at the studio signing customers in, taking payments and other general administrative duties.

Job Hours
  • Saturdays, 10:00 - 13:00
  • Mondays, 16:45 - 20:15
  • Wednesdays, 16:45 - 20:30

Receptionist Job Purpose

Making clients and visitors to the studio feel welcome and answering all of their questions. Taking payment for classes and assisting new customers complete the required registration forms. Answering phone calls and emails and / or directing these communications to the relevant staff person.

Receptionist Job Duties
  • Greeting visitors warmly and offering them help immediately
  • Handling money / taking payments
  • Signing students in / out
  • Completing administrative tasks like filing and data entry
  • Checking the tidiness of the building
  • Providing customer support

Rate of Pay

Dependant on age & experience.
