Hype Dance Cornavirus Statement - March 18th 2020

Dear Customers

Due to the ongoing Coronavirus pandemic we have decided to cancel all dance classes with immediate effect. We had hoped to remain open for as long as possible, and as a not for profit organisation it has been a difficult decision to deal with something we never have before, but given the latest government advice feel it would be irresponsible to do so. We hope the situation will improve over the coming weeks so we will re-evaluate our position at Easter, but the most important thing is the wellbeing of each and every one of us.

This is a difficult time for all of us and the financial impact on small businesses such as ourselves will be massive and we’ll be working on ways to survive this and re-open as soon as its safe to do so.

Our sector has rallied around and dancers such as Tiler Peck, Principal Ballet dancer from the New York City Ballet are offering free online sessions and we know some of our tutors are going to look into online private classes too. Plus you all know plenty of warm up’s from class - so keep healthy and dancing!

Stay safe, look after each other and we’ll see you all once things have calmed down and we can all get back to a normal way of life.

Many thanks
The Management Team at Hype Dance
