Have you seen people tap dance on stage? Think ‘no way can I do that!!’. Think again!
All tap dancing starts with learning the basics and this is what the beginner course aims to do. In this four week course you will learn about basic technique and some fundamental steps that form the building blocks for all types of tap dancing. At the end of the course, you will be able to perform a simple, short routine joining together the things you have learnt.
Why not give it a go! This is a 4 week course that begins on Thursday 19th September at 20:00 and costs £20 for the 4 weeks.
Using techniques from the world-famous Progressing Ballet Technique and Pilates, this 3-week course will give you training exercises to do at home to improve;
It is open to anyone, of any age who wishes to look in more detail at how to improve their dance - whatever style.
Please wear tight comfortable clothing, barefoot and if you have one, please bring a gym ball (it can be inflated here) and theraband (there will be some to borrow during the sessions).
